Borden Park is a well maintained community park ideal for picnics and events. There are picnic sites with picnic tables and BBQ pits. One picnic site is developed with a shelter with power. Both operate on a first come, first serve basis. Groups are advised to book picnic facilities through the city of Edmonton parks board.
The park includes a playground area for children and some tennis courts, baseball fields and an outdoor swimming pool. During the summer months the outdoor pool is very busy destination for families.
Centrally located is a fountain and pond surrounded by forests and large grass lawns... and nearby is a bandshell with change rooms, power and washrooms for staging outdoor events.
Travel to Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. The park is located in the northwest section of Edmonton, north of the North Saskatchewan River. First follow 112th Ave to the intersection of 73rd Street. Turn onto 73rd Street and take a left onto Borden Park Road. The parking lot is on your left.
