Wood Lake is a recreation lake located in between the communities of Oyama and Winfield, British Columbia, Canada. It is one of the most easily accessible lakes in the Lake Country region because it runs along side a major highway. The same major highway that connects the entire Okanagan Valley.

Wood Lake is a popular destination for canoeing and fishing in the summer and ice fishing in the winter. Along the shores of the lake are a few resorts, stores and other types of accommodations. But mostly, Wood Lake is a popular day use lake explored by the locals.

The western shore of Wood Lake follows Highway #97 closely. And because of the close proximity to the highway the lake is heavily used. Access to the lake is best found along the highway at any of the pull outs with gravel boat launches.

When traveling the Okanagan Valley, it is rare to see the lake empty. On most days people are fishing the lake. In the summer boats are trolling for trout and in the winter people are sitting around a hole in the ice, jigging a line, with a warm cup of java in the other hand.
