Chippewa Park is an amusement park as well as a recreation and sightseeing destination located on the shores of Lake Superior in the community of Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada. Thunder Bay is part of the North of Superior region of Northern Ontario, Canada.

The 110 hectare (276 acre) Chippewa Park has a long history in Thunder Bay dating back to the 1920s. For many years the park has been the site of many events and special occasions.

A reminder of the days gone bye is the 1930s pavillion and a historic carousel. The carousel in the amusement park has been operating since 1927. And in 1991 the carousel was declared a historic site by the Province of Ontario, Canada.

Other attractions located in the park include a wildlife park, amusement rides, train ride and two beaches. Sandy Beach is a supervised swimming beach while the Chippewa Beach is an unsupervised beach.

The main supervised beach provides some great views of the Sleeping Giant on Lake Superior (The Sleeping Giant is a collection of rock cliffs and islands forming a silhoutte of a man lying on his back).

The attractions, beaches and sightseeing opportunities are all connected by a walking trail system. The trail includes a boardwalk section extending out onto Lake Superior providing great views of the park and area.

Sevices and amenities located in Chippewa Park include a day use picnic area, coffee house with internet, gift shop and campground. The campground includes serviced and non serviced campsites and cabin rentals. Services include washrooms, luandromat and grocery services.

Summer activites enjoyed in the Chippewa Park include walking, canoeing, sightseeing, camping, birdwatching, swimming, fishing and picnicking.
