Middle Island Park is a 6 hectare (15 acre) historical island park located in the middle of the Miramichi River accessed by a short causeway. There is plenty of scenery and a 1.5 kilometre trail connecting to even more wonderful viewing opportunities. The history of the island dates back to the early days of the Micmac First Nation people.
