Fort Beausejour National Historic Site is a star-shaped fort located east of the community of Sackville, New Brunswick, Canada on the Chignecto Isthmus overlooking the Tantramar Marsh. This 18th century fort was constructed by France in response to Britain's Fort Lawrence. In 1755 Fort Beausejour was captured by the British and was renamed Fort Cumberland.
