While attending BC Overland Rally event here in the valley, I was fortunate to sit down and talk with a couple from White Rock BC. Kathie & Chris asked me "why isn't Merritt a destination vacation spot?" Going on to say, the Nicola Valley has such a diverse environment and climate that makes it the perfect place for year-round activities. These two make Merritt BC their destination spot every year. Stating, why would you want to go anywhere else in the world than here. Furthermore, they are seriously thinking of relocating to the Nicola Valley BC.
