Rod & Reel Haven: The outfitters, outpost camps, guides, fly-in lodges and wilderness resorts entertain many who enjoy fishing for walleye, northern pike, muskie, perch, crappies, lake trout and/or small and largemouth bass. 

Go for a Hike or Walk:Hike the 4 -12 kilometre trails in the forested Aspen Trails parkland area. Visit Sioux Narrows Provincial Park and walk the boreal trails exploring along the sandy shores of the Lake of the Woods.

Go to the Beach:Visit the long sandy beach, a floating dock and swimming area in the Sioux Narrows Provincial Park or plan a trip to a remote lake nearby and discover your own private beach.

Pack a Paddle: There are many canoe paddle routes in the region connecting to chain of lakes - as well as - provide sightings of wildlife and pictographs. There are rentals and beginner and experienced paddle tours with guides available in the region.

Plan a Boating Day:Tow your boat or sailboat to one of the local marinas or to one of the many boat launches in the region and sail off into the sunset. Or better yet let someone else do the work while you enjoy the adventure on a boat cruise/tour.

Tours & Guides:Book yourself a local tour and/or hire a guide. There are tours and guides for boating, kayaking, fishing, hunting and others in the region who have the experience and knowledge to ensure a safe and successful adventure. 

Birding & Binoculars: There are many lakes and wetland areas in the region which are nesting, feeding and resting areas for migrating birds.

Bring Your Clubs: Throughout the Northwest of Ontario is a network of golf courses which golfers will enjoy. Golfers should always bring their clubs along when traveling in Ontario. If you forgot... rentals are always available.

Winterize:The Sioux Narrows trails, backcountry roads, frozen lakes and rivers become activity destinations in winter. Some of the adventures include ice fishing, cross country skiing, snowshoeing and snowmobiling.
