Summer solstice, the longest day of the year is a traditional time for all Indigenous first nations peoples to come together and celebrate their culture and heritage. Through-out Canada, June 21st is recognized as a special day to honour Indigenous diverse cultures and their unique heritage of Metis, First Nations and Inuit Peoples. Everyone is invited to come out and celebrate National Indigenous Peoples Day on June 21st at the Rotary Park in Merritt BC.
