Although, due to it's popularity, growth and success the festival literally out grew the space to hold event. The search was on to find the right place to host this fast growing music festival. Bass Coast Electronic Music and Arts Festival attracts people from all over the world. To experience and take in the many innovative international talent as well being a springboard for upcoming Canadian artists. Merritt BC has been celebrating Bass Coast since 2013. Ten years of festivity in the Nicola Valley BC.

Bass Coast Festival is held on the traditional, ancestral unceded territory of the Nlaka'pamuz & Syilx people. Merritt BC Bass Coast music genres include, techno, jungle, drum, funk, hip hop and more. Moreover this is an adult festival, that provides numerous licensed bars throughout the grounds. First Aid tents are located throughout camping areas with the largest one behind the main stage. Additionally, many businesses in Merritt benefit from the thousands of people who attend Bass Coast. Although there is on-site camping, many people prefer the luxury of a hotel room. Many people I met during event explained that they wait to shop at our local stores for essentials and more. How fantastic this is for the Nicola Valley's economy and tourism. Important to note that Bass Coast Music Festival is an International Worldwide Event that attracts thousands to our valley.
